SUSTAINABLE
TRAVEL
Moving towards sustainable tourism involves helping to protect our planet for future generations
Protection of the Ecosystems
At Inside Panama, we promote collaboration with local organizations to conserve natural habitats and protect endangered species. We aim to limit tourist activities in sensitive areas to prevent environmental damage and work to ensure more tourism companies share this initiative.

Responsable Tourism
It is essential to educate tourists on the importance of respecting the environment and local cultures. Inside Panama offers tourist experiences that focus on conservation, such as visits to nature reserves and to agricultural farms.
La Briyeka day tour offers agrotourism with camping, hiking and outdoor activities.

Local Products
Inside Panama uses products and services from local suppliers, not only reducing the carbon footprint associated with transporting goods but also supporting the local economy. We offer amenities and gifts made by Panamanian indigenous people, an excellent souvenir to take our culture back home with you.

Volunteering Experiences
Our trip itineraries are designed to connect travelers with local communities and provide a deeper understanding of the culture. One way to get to know the country better is through volunteering experiences, from beach clean-ups and visits to research centers to donations of supplies to schools and Panamanian NGOs.

Make tourism a positive opportunity for the planet and to mindful businesses
When tourism positively impacts the economic and social well-being of local communities, it encourages them to actively engage in protecting nature, reducing poverty, and celebrating cultural diversity. Ensuring local communities benefit is essential for sustainable tourism.
Engaging with Panamanian Businesses
As a Panamanian company, we are firsthand aware of the challenges that small, medium, or family businesses face. That's why we prioritize partnerships with local guides, adding personal knowledge, depth, and authenticity to the experience in our Day Tours and Packages.
Additionally, we collaborate with Panamanian food restaurants to offer not only an exquisite culinary experience but also to support local entrepreneurs.
You can read more about this experience in the day tours Tropical Flavors and Guided Panamanian Cooking Class.
Natural Protectors of Mother Earth
Indigenous people are the primary guardians of forests across the national territory, and thanks to their ancestral practices, they have ensured the conservation of 80% of the biodiversity of flora and fauna as a solution to climate change. There are indigenous communities in Panama that allow tourist visits.
On the Embera Indian Village day tour, the entire Embera community, from young to old, comes together to welcome guests to interact and experience a cultural immersion, emphasizing their relationship with the land and how their way of life respects the environment.

The leaders of these communities wish to share their traditions and the cultural experiences represent a source of economic income for the families.
